VP of Global Brand at Spotify

Since joining the global music streaming platform in 2014, Alex has overseen the growth of Spotify’s Brand and Marketing Team, and today she leads the company’s Brand Function with executive sponsorship of the '22 +'23 Global Marketing plans. In her past @Spotify, Alex was instrumental in evolving Spotify’s internal creative studio into a premier Brand and Creative group, leading global campaigns for Spotify as well as individual launches for Product and Content Marketing alike.

Alex’s work at Spotify includes the development of Spotify’s Visual Identity System, our annual award-winning “Wrapped” holiday campaign(s) in addition to other Global Brand Platform launches and a plethora of Content Marketing initiatives for artists and creators such as Justin Bieber, Billie Eililish, Bad Bunny, Kendrick Lamar, Cardi B, Olivia Rodrigo, Lil Nas X, Childish Gambino, The Weekend, Pharrell, Janelle Monae, Justin Timberlake and Lauryn Hill, to name a few. With creativity and strategy at the heart of her work, Alex has inspired a creative-approach to ideating and executing across Spotify. Her leadership has helped to widen the lens on culture that Spotify speaks through. 

Alex’s diverse career experience includes in-house and agency work along with short stints in publishing and fashion. Before joining Spotify, Alex worked for brands such as Nike, Jordan Brand, Mondelez International, Reformation, JetBlue, Beats by Dr. Dre, Moet/Hennessy, Sprite, Converse and the NBA, helping them connect better to their consumers through emotionally and culturally relevant brand narratives and experiences.
